Q&A with Kristen
Why are you running for County Commissioner?
I care deeply about the future of Trumbull County. Our community has incredible potential. Thoughtful leadership and responsible decision-making can help ensure our county continues to grow and thrive.
What does a County Commissioner do?
County Commissioners oversee many of the services that affect daily life for residents. These responsibilities include managing county finances, supporting infrastructure and public services, coordinating economic development initiatives, and ensuring local government operates efficiently.
Why does county government matter to residents?
County government plays an important role in maintaining roads and bridges, supporting emergency services, managing public resources, and helping communities grow responsibly. The decisions made by county leaders directly impact the quality of life for residents.
What are your priorities if elected?
My top priority is financial oversight. I will ensure that every taxpayer dollar is spent with discipline and transparency. I will focus on economic development not only because we need more jobs, but more importantly to give our kids a reason to stay. We need serious, professional leadership to focus our efforts and make it clear that Trumbull County is ready for growth.
How can county government support seniors?
Seniors deserve leadership who respect their independence and ensure they have access to reliable services and information. County leadership should work to ensure seniors have access to programs and resources that support their health, independence, and quality of life.
